ABOUT

"The young actors were just like adults. They always helped to inspire moments that I was worried would feel stale. Alison was always joking around making me laugh. It was a real collaboration."

- Andrew Ellmaker, Filmmaker

Alison Jaye’s path to Broadway began when she was 11 years old, on the stage of her
local library, barely three and a half feet tall, wearing a full nun’s habit and a cross almost
half her size, singing “Climb Every Mountain” from The Sound of Music. A few months
later, Alison was auditioning for Stephen Sondheim. She was cast as Louise/Bather in
Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway revival of Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park
with George
. Immediately thereafter, Alison assumed the role of Jane Banks in
Broadway’s Mary Poppins. Since then, Alison returned to school full-time, but continued
to focus her attention on honing her craft in theatre and film. Alison is a recent BFA
graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts, and a proud member of both AEA and SAG/AFTRA.
